The facility has a Template:Convert paddock that contains team garages, 40 day garages, 27 grand prix garages located along the hot pits, an on-site medical facility, five million dollar Club House, vintage car museum, and a helicopter pad. Miller Motorsports Park has also been named as the exclusive Ford High Performance Driving School providing a wide range of driver training programs including an opportunity to drive one of four Ford GT 's on course.
This track was originally conceived as a novelty track for Larry H. The track was designed by world renowned engineer Alan Wilson. The kart track was opened in September , and the large track was opened to the public on 1 April , , in a ceremony conducted by Miller. It is unusual for a race track to attract so many relatively big-budget race events in its first year of operation. The track is also host to a WERA Grand National motorcycle roadracing event and the regional motorcycle roadracing series Masters of the Mountains, promoted by the Utah sport bike association.
The result was the first-class racecourse created by South African designer Alan Wilson, husband of Desire Wilson, one of only five women to compete in the Formula 1 World Championship. The circuit was built thanks to business and motorsports enthusiast Larry H. Until the extension of Thunderhill Raceway park, this circuit was the longest in the US. The counterclockwise run track, built at the flatland surrounded by mountains, is a real gem and can be used in four different layouts.

However, through his connections with the local automotive industry, it soon became apparent that there was a wider demand for such a facility.
Renowned designer Alan Wilson was hired to turn the vision into a reality, penning a multi-variant course which would be among the longest in the USA when used in its fullest form. Ground-breaking began in April and was complete within 12 months. The completed track sits in a vast acre site three times the size of Disneyland, as the circuit is quick to inform you surrounded by moutains. Across the road from the main campus is another acres of track-owned property that includes a seven-mile desert racing course. As the icing on the cake, the track is also home to the Larry H. Miller Total Performance Museum, which showcases Miller's collection of cars, with a particular emphasis on racing Fords and Shelby Cobras.
The inaugural event was a trackday for motorcycles, but this was quickly followed by a summer of events, including high-profile visits of the American Le Mans Series, Grand-Am for a nine hour race and the AMA Superbikes.
