Some people say that the snare sound is poor. I'd say it's just different. It is not the typical style snare what we have used to hear in analog machines. Volca Beats is a great addition to the both small and big setups. In this price category there just isn't a machine which would beat the Beats. Great for sketching ideas, poor snare sound. I've seen other people with this same complaint but it's gotta be said, the snare on this thing is very strange.
